Annie Moon, MS, LMFT

Throughout strenuous and stressful periods of life, there is often a need for a safe place to process and find healing. I believe therapy can be transformative for those that are in need, and I am honored to walk alongside you and witness your story. I recognize that time and energy is precious in this day and age, and I want to maximize the time we share and the investment made into the therapeutic experience.

I work with individuals, couples, and families with a variety of issues related to anxiety, depression, relational issues, physical illness, and trauma. I have a relational approach to therapy, and I hope to address all the dimensions including physical and mental health. I offer therapeutic support and consideration as I value a safe place for open dialogue, tangible goal setting, internal skill building, and beginning the process of true healing. My objective is to meet you in your stage of life and to be culturally sensitive to diverse backgrounds. If you would like to explore your Christian faith, I would be happy to incorporate prayer and scripture into our sessions with your permission.

I have interned at Youth Eastside Services (YES) in Bellevue, working with children, adolescents, and families in the clinical and school context. I worked a coinciding internship at Swedish Cancer Institute working with patients and families, and I have attended a summer camp for families with a child diagnosed with cancer. I have volunteered with Seattle University as a pre-marital counseling facilitator and have been a part of multiple research teams in Kansas, Washington, and abroad.

I am from the Midwest and graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I moved to the Emerald city for graduate schooling at Seattle Pacific University and earned a Masters of Science degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I hold certificates in Medical Family Therapy, Adlerian Psychology, and I am trained in Prepare/Enrich (pre-marital couples inventory). I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington and am credentialed with American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy.

I hope to be a resource to you and your loved ones, and look forward to meeting you.
