Caroline Timmins, MS, LMFT

I believe therapy gives people a safe and confidential space in which to share their struggles. Being able to talk through painful situations and relationships with an outside person who listens and bears witness to our feelings is, I believe, the way the soul begins to heal.

I obtained my undergraduate training from Biola University, and my Master’s in Marriage and Family therapy from Seattle Pacific University. I have been working with individuals, couples and children for over ten years. As a therapist trained in family systems, I am especially interested in helping people (over age 10) understand the dynamics of significant relationships in their lives and how these affect one’s well-being. I specialize in working with relational crisis, depression, anxiety, parenting issues, addictions and spiritual issues.

I have a level one training in Lifespan Integration for addressing PTSD and other traumatic memories, and am working toward becoming a Certified Sex Addictions Therapist (CSAT). I am also familiar with the teachings of Leanne Payne and the healing ministry she started (MPC) and enjoy working with people who wish to further integrate these principles into their lives.

As a Washington State Approved Clinical supervisor, I also offer individual and group supervision to associate level therapists who are looking to increase their skill in the integration of clinical treatment and biblical truth.

While I hold to a biblical Christian worldview, and wholeheartedly believe in the truth and love of Jesus Christ, I know there are many people who have been hurt by a less than grace-filled Christian message. I view faith as a journey and offer acceptance for wherever you may be on that path.

I want to provide a positive therapy experience and offer hope and healing as we seek together to unravel whatever is troubling in your life.

I look forward to meeting with you!
